while also tackling self-defense, self-esteem, peer acceptance, self-responsibility and self-care. A strong self-defense is directly linked to our internal beliefs and feelings. We have 4 formats for transferring this life-changing information to girls.
In the workshops we discuss drugs, bullying, trusting your intuition and the power of believing in yourself through movement and interactive exercises.
GIRL SCOUT EVENTS
Girl Scout events are perfectly paired with the GS Journey curriculum. Choose from a variety of events that support the level that your Girl Scouts troop is working on. The girls will have a meaningful and valued event that supports the GS vision of Discover-Learn-Connect. As leaders, you have the benefit of effortlessly setting up an event for your troop that everyone can afford, and one that teaches the girls their curriculum on a one-of-a-kind experiential level. We are also an officially recognized and recommended resource by the Girl Scouts of America.
The I Am Girl Day Retreats are designed to help girls develop relationships, cultivate self-esteem and learn more about self-defense-and do so without preexisting stereotypes from school or peers. They create a safe & creative environment that allows each girl to be herself and learn how to express her talents and voice confidently.
Lisa speaks to young and adult women on turning victim to victor and taking responsibility for their thoughts, feelings, and actions so they are able to no longer at the mercy of circumstance. Her engaging presentations teach the principles of self-defense through self-love, trusting intuition, and being aware of how every action we take delivers specific consequences. She gives practical tools that women can use in their life to live strong, confidently, and powerful.
